Paterson, Malcolm McRobert

Biography: Son of Mrs. Paterson, Forest Road, Aberdeen ; born 1916 ; educated at Wimbolton School, Bedfordshire. In 1938 he graduated M.B., Ch.B., and for a year was assistant at St. Mary Abbott's Hospital, Kensington. On the outbreak of war he was mobilized, and after a period in England was sent to the Middle East with a Field Ambulance. From there he was transferred to India, where as O.C. No. 1 Malaria Unit, he did some notable work. He died in May 1945 while acting as A.D.M.S. to the 26th Indian Division in Burma.
