Osborne, Roy Robert Taylor

Biography: Son of Mrs. Osborne, Arundel, Sussex ; born Arundel, 7 June 1923 ; educated at Chichester High School. He entered the Royal Air Force in 1942 and attended the Cadets' course at the University. He trained as a Navigator in South Africa and on his return was attached to Bomber Command. On 12 August 1944 he was taking part in his twentieth raid over Germany when he was reported missing and presumed killed.
