Morrison, George Clark

Biography: Son of Thomas and Catherine Burgess Morrison, Blackbriggs, Methlick, Aberdeenshire; born Methlick, 1917 ; educated at Robert Gordon's College. In 1939 he graduated M.A. and then went to the Training Centre. Joining the Fleet Air Arm in 1940, he was commissioned in December. He was posted to the Aircraft-Carrier Furious and later to H.M.S. Ark Royal. Some time afterwards he was attached to a squadron based on the West Coast of Scotland, and was killed on active service on 5 June 1942.
