Biography: Son of Col. Robert and Lilian Cecile Milne, Old Alresford, Kent ; born 5 January 1924; he attended the R.A. Cadets' course at the University and was gazetted to the 151st Field Regiment, Royal Artillery. After a long spell of service he died of wounds received in action in North-West Europe on 1 March 1945.
