Biography: M.A., M.D. University Lecturer in Tropical Medicine. Enlisted, Volunteer Medical Staff Corps, 1889. Officer Commanding, A.U.O.T.C. Commissioned, R.A.M.C. (T.), 1912. Mobilized, August 1914. Attached as Medical Officer in command of Officers' Hospital, Cairo; Senior Medical Officer, Prisoners of War Camp, Cyprus. Served-Home, 1914-15; Egyptian Expeditionary Force, Egypt, Cyprus, March 1915-February 1919. Final rank, Captain. Mentioned in despatches, 3 April 1918.
