Biography: T.D., M.A., B.D. Chaplain, R.A.M.C. (Volunteer later Territorial), 1889. Mobilized, August 1914. Attached to the 1st Scottish General Hospital. Home service, 1914-1919. Final rank, Chaplain (Colonel). Thanked by Secretary of State for valuable services, March 1918. War work - Recruiting (4th Gordon Highlanders, 157th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery). Member, County of Aberdeen Territorial Force Association, University Military Education Committee; Honorary Chaplain, 1st Cadet Battalion 4th Gordon Highlanders.
