Biography: Son of John Mutch; born Newburgh, Aberdeenshire, 21 February 1888. M.A.,1913. Private, Highland Light Infantry, 26 November 1915. Transferred Machine Gun Corps Served-Home, 1915-17; France, April 1917-April 1919. Final rank, Acting Sergeant.
