Biography: Son of James Murray; born 8 September 1877. Medicine, 1895-96. War work-Examiner of recruits, London, 1914-17. Commissioned, R.A.M.C., 89th Field Ambulance, October 1917. Medical Officer in Command, 29th Division Royal Engineers. Served-France, Belgium, Germany, October 1917-March 1919. Final rank, Captain.
