Morrison, James
Biography: Son of John Morrison; born Boyndie, 12 May 1889. M.A.,1911; M.B., 1914. Joined 1st Volunteer Battalion. Gordon Highlanders, 1907; 4th Gordon Highlanders (T.F.), 1908. Commissioned, R.A.M.C, 16 January 1915, attached to Connaught Hospital, Aldershot, 6th King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, 20th and 55th Casualty Clearing Station. Served- Aldershot Command, 1915 ; France, Belgium, May 1915-October 1919. Final rank, Major. Two mentions in despatches, May 1918, August 1919.
