Morren, William Leith
Biography: Son of William B. Morren; born Madras, 17 September 1886. M.A., 1908. U Company, 4th Volunteer Battalion Gordon Highlanders, 1905-08; Citizen Volunteer Force, Port Glasgow, 1914-15. Released for service. Private, 4th (Reserve) Gordon Highlanders, 26 April 1917; commissioned, 30 January 1918. Served-Home, 1917-18; France (with 1st Gordon Highlanders), May-July 1918. Severely wounded. Re-linquished Commission. Final rank, Lieutenant.
