Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 8 August 1914; attached 12th General Hospital, 3rd Field Ambulance, 41st Royal Field Artillery, 2nd Connaughts, 2nd Leicesters, 1st Munsters, 11th Sussex Regiment Served-France, Belgium, Gallipoli, Egypt, Home, 1914-18. Final rank, Captain. Distinguished Service Order, Mentioned, 1915.
