Biography: Son of William Y. Moir; born Meldrum, Aberdeenshire, 11 September 1868. M.A., 1889. Chaplain, (Captain), 7th Royal Scottish Fusiliers, 7 July 1915; attached 7th Gordon Highlanders Served-France 1915-18. Final rank, Senior Chaplain (Major).
