Biography: Son of Alexander Mitchell; born New Deer, 6 November 1848. M.B., 1872. Served-3rd (Buchan) Volunteer Battalion Gordon Highlanders, 1872-1908; returned with rank of Colonel. V.D. War work-Medical Recruiting Boards; Medical Practitioner for augmented District, New Deer, 1914-18. Died, 26 May 1920.
