Biography: Son of Alexander G. Mitchell ; born Rhynie, 17 November 1874. M.A., 1895 5 M.B., 1899. War Work-Red Cross, 1914-15. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 1 January 1916. Served-Home, 1916, 1916-17, 1918-19; Mesopotamia, May-December 1916; France, July 1917-January 1918. Final rank, Captain.
