Biography: Son of George G. Milne; born Aberdeen, 26 November 1889. M.A., 1911. Private, 3rd Gordon Highlanders, February 1916; commissioned, Royal Garrison Artillery (Special Reserve), 4 August 1917. Served-Home, France, Germany, February 1916-January 1919. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
