Miller, James Bruce
Biography: Son of George Miller; born 4 January 1867. Arts, 1884-85. Commissioned, 1st Aberdeenshire Royal Engineers (Volunteer), 1889; Returned as Honorary Major, 1905; posted T.F. Reserve, 1910; called up for Active Service, October 1914. Served with-City of Aberdeen (Fortress) Royal Engineer, 1914-15; Officer Cadet, 552nd (Aberdeen) Army Troops Company, Royal Engineers, Served-France, Belgium, April 1915-May 1919. Final rank, Captain. Military Cross, January 1918. Mentioned in despatches, January 1917.
