Middleton, William Robert Colvin
Biography: Son of William Middleton; born Bombay, 3 August 1863. M.A., 1883; M.B., 1888; Diploma in Public Health, 1894; M.D., 1912. S.M.O., Singapore Volunteer Corps, 1904-19. War work-Deputy Assistant Director Medical Service (S.), Straits Settlements, 1914-16; Singapore Mutiny, 1915. Promoted Lieutenant-Colonel on retirement. V.D. Name brought twice to notice of Secretary of State for War, 1919.
