Biography: Son of Malcolm MacLeod; born Bernera, Lochmaddy, 10 November 1892. Arts, 1919-. Ross Mountain Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery (T.), 1909-14. Re-enlisted, 2/4th Seaforth Highlanders, 26 February 1915. Served with 7th Seaforth Highlanders, 7th Cameron Highlanders Commissioned, 29 May 1917. Home, 2 years; France, 1 year; Prisoner of War, March-November 1918. Final rank, Acting Captain.
