Biography: Son of Roderick McLeod; born Lochs, Ross-shire, 3 October 1888. M.A., 1910. U Company, 4th Gordon Highlanders, 1907-11. Rejoined, Enlisted, 3rd Cameron Highlanders, February 1917. Commissioned, Machine Gun Corps 51st (Highland) Machine Gun Battalion., June 1918. Served-Home, 18 months; France, Belgium, 5 months Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
