Biography: Son of Robert H. MacKessack; born Kinloss, 18 January 1879. M.A., 1899; M.B. (Ed.), 1904; M.D. (Ed.), 1909. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 4 August 1916. Served-Salonika, August 1916-November 1917; France, May 1918-March 1919. Final rank, Captain.
