Commissioned, Royal Army Chaplains' Department, 6 January 1915 ; attached to 77th, 46th, Brigades ; No. 1, No. 43, Casualty Clearing Station; IX Corps. Served-Home, 1915, 1916, 1917-18; France, Flanders, July 1915-January 1916, May 1916-August 1917, 1918-19. Final rank, Chaplain, 4th Class.
