Biography: Son of Andrew MacKenzie; born Turriff, 29 November 1892. M.A., 1913; MB., 1916. A.U.O.T.C. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 26 April 1916; attached 2/1st Highland. Casualty Clearing Station, 82nd Field Ambulance, 26th Middlesex Regiment. Served-Home, 1916-17; Macedonia, Bulgaria, April 1917-January 1919. Final rank, Captain.
