Served-Home, Military Hospitals, Whalley, Liverpool, 1915 ; Gallipoli, Suez Canal, France, Flanders, October 1915-July 1917 ; Home, 1918-. Final rank, Captain. Military Cross, June 1917. Mentioned in despatches, September 1917.
