Biography: Son of William Sturm; born Manchester, 16 June 1879. M.B., 1907; Ch.M., 1911. Commissioned, R.A.M.C., 15 March 1915; attached to 2/1st North Midland Field Ambulance, 2/5 Lincolnshire Regiment, No. 6 General Hospital. Served-U.K., 1915-16, 1918; France, 1917. Final rank, Captain.
