Biography: Son of John P. Stuart; born Inverness, 18 March 1855. M.B., 1876. Joined Army Medical Department, later R.A.M.C., 1883. Retired Lieutenant-Colonel, 1910. Services accepted by Indian Government, November 1915. Served-Central Provinces, 1915-19. Final rank, Lieutenant-Colonel.
