Biography: Son of Peter Stewart; born Kilmorack, 14 March 1894. M.A., 1916. Commissioned, 4th Cameron Highlanders, 8 September 1915; transferred R.A.F. Served-Home, 3½ years; France, 7 months. Final rank, Lieutenant. Croix de Guerre (with palms), August 1918.
