Biography: Son of Alexander Stephen; born Old Deer, 26 May 1868. M.A., 1891; B.D., 1894. Appointed officiating Chaplain to Presbyterians, Royal Navy, Rosyth, 1913. Served-1914-18. War work- Member, Committee Lord Derby's Attestation Scheme, War Pensions Committee, War Savings Committee, S. and S.F. Association, Inverkeithing, 1914-18.
