Stephen, John Hector
Biography: Son of John H. Stephen; born Aberdeen, 24 June 1879. B.Sc. (Spec. dist.), 1900; M.B. (Hons.), 1902. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C. (V. later T.), 1904. Mobilized Captain, August 1914. Attached to 1st Highland Field Ambulance, 89th Field Ambulance Served-Home, 1914-15, 1916; Egypt, Gallipoli, April - October 1915; invalided; France, Belgium, Germany, December 1916-September 1919. Final rank, Acting Lieutenant-Colonel. Distinguished Service Order T.D. Mentioned in despatches, January 1919.
