Biography: Son of John Stephen; born Abernethy, 1883. Div., 1906-09. Private, 1/6th Seaforth Highlanders, 1889-96. Army Medical Staff Corps, 1897-99. Commissioned, R.A.M.C. (T.), 1913. Mobilized, August 1914. Attached to 1/2nd Highland Field Ambulance, Ambulance transport Served-Home, 1914-15 ; France, May 1915-19. Final rank, Captain.
