I.C.S., 1914; U Company, R.A.M.C.; 1st Highland Field Ambulance, 1910-May 1914; Oxford University Officer Training Corps, 1914-15. I.D.F., attached to 35th Battalion Sind Rifles, 1917. Commission applied for, refused by Government, of Bombay. War work-Recruiting, Food Control.
