Captain, R.A.M.C., November 1915. Attached to Royal Herbert Hospital, Woolwich; Medical Officer in Charge at Orpington Auxiliary Hospital; Officer Commanding, No. 8 Section Kent Field Ambulance; 31st General Hospital, Egypt, 1915-16. Final rank, Major. Mentioned in despatches, 1918.
