Slessor, William Duncan
Biography: Son of George Slessor; born Kelso, 28 October 1887. M.A., 1908. Aberdeen University Scottish Horse Yeomanry, 1905-08; Indian Police, North West Frontier Province and Punjab, 1914-16. Commissioned, Indian Army Reserve of Officers, Cavalry Branch, 3 August 1916. Served-India, 1916-19. Final rank, Captain.
