Skinner, William Booth
Biography: Son of William Skinner; born Coull, Aberdeenshire, 2 November 1862. M.B.,1887. Commissioned, Surgeon-Lieutenant, Cape Volunteer Force, January 1903. Mobilized Captain, South African Defence Force, 24 August 1914; attached to the South African Medical Corps. Served-German South West Africa, German East Africa, September 1914-March 1917; Cape No. 1 General Hospital, Wynberg, March 1917-March 1919. Final rank, Lieutenant -Colonel. Distinguished Service Order, " Gazette," February 1917. Mentioned, G.S.W.A. campaign.
