Biography: Son of James Skinner; born Aberdeen, 22 May 1867. M.A., 1888; Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, 1903 ; Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries (Scotland), 1909. War work-Lecturing on behalf of War Funds, Scotland, 1914-19.
