Simpson, Alexander Bruce
Biography: Son of James Simpson; born Tullynessle, 29 January 1876. M.B.,1899. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 25 October 1915. Attached to the 1/1st Ayrshire Yeomanry, 12th (Ayr and Lanark) Battalion, R.S.F., 25th Field Ambulance. Served- Egypt, Sinai, Palestine, France, 1915-18; Prisoner of War, May 1918; Home, December 1918-March 1919. Final rank, Captain.
