Biography: Son of Patrick R. Simpson; born Aberdeen, 9 August 1899. Medicine 1920-. Cadet, Royal Flying Corps, 21 August 1917. Commissioned, 15 June 1918; attached 62nd, 22nd, Squadron, R.A.F. Served-Home, 1917-18; France, Germany, June 1918-September 1919. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
