Biography: Son of George Shepherd; born Aberdeen, 5 November 1878. M.A., 1903. Private, 7th Gordon Highlanders, 7 August 1914. Commissioned, 17 October 1915; attached to 1/7th, 2/7th, 3/7th, 3/4th, 51st Graduated Battalion, Gordon Highlanders Served-Home, 1914-16, 1918; France, December 1916-February 1918. Final rank, Lieutenant. Died, 13 June 1921.
