Biography: Son of James Sheach; born Dufftown, 14 August 1880. M.A., 1902; B.Sc., 1904. Joined Aberdeen Military Training Association, 1914 (later, 1st Volunteer Battalion Gordon Highlanders). Home service, 1914-18. War work-British Red Cross Society (Scottish Branch), 1916-19.
