Biography: Son of Robert Scott; born Longside, 21 December 1873. Law, 1895-98. Joined 1st Volunteer Brigade Gordon Highlanders, 1891 (later 4th Gordon Highlanders, T.F.). Commissioned, 1902. Mobilized, August 1914. Attached 2/7th Gordon Highlanders Served-Home, 1914-15, 1915-19; France, April-June 1915. Final rank, Major.
