Biography: Son of James Scott; born Peterhead, 4 November 1884. M.A., 1907. Private, 4th Gordon Highlanders, 2 June 1916. Served with 5th Gordon Highlanders, 3rd, 6th, Black Watch, Commissioned, 27 June 1917. Home, 1916, 1917-18; France, September 1916-February 1917, March - December 1918; Hospital, December 1918 - May 1919. Final rank, Lieutenant.
