Biography: Son of James Savege; born Hull, 14 August 1895. Medicine 1913-. A.U.O.T.C, 1913-15. Commissioned, 251st Northumbrian Brigade, Royal Field Artillery (T.), 9 July 1915. Served-Home, 1915-16; France, March 1916-December 1917. Final rank, Lieutenant. Military Cross, September 1916.
