Biography: Son of Alexander Wood; born Peterhead, 29 April 1885. M.B., 1908; M.D. (com.), 1911; Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, (Edinburgh). Commissioned, Australian Army Medical Corps. October 1916. Served-France. Final rank, Captain.
