Company Sergeant.-Major, Nagpur Volunteer Mounted Infantry Commissioned, Chaplain 4th Grade, 19 March 1916; attached to 5th Cavalry Division (France), 1916-April 1918; 12th Cavalry Brigade. (Palestine), April 1918-April 1919. Final rank, Chaplain, 4th Grade. Order of the British Empire (Military), 1919. Mentioned in despatches, March 1919.
