Biography: Son of William Wishart; born Ronaldshay, Orkney, 14 August 1879. M.A. (11 Math), 1900; B.Sc., 1902; M.B., 1906. Volunteer Army Medical Corps. Commissioned, R.A.M.C. ('T'.), 1 July 1915. Served -Home, 1915-17, 1918; India, October 1917-August 1918. Discharged unfit. Final rank, Captain. Name brought to notice of Secretary of State for War, 1917.
