Biography: Son of James Wiseman; born Newhills, Aberdeenshire, 3 May, 1886. M.A., 1907. War work- Chemical Laboratory, St. Andrews University, 1915. St. Andrew's University Officer Training Corps Gunner, Royal Garrison Artillery, November 1915. Served with 5th Reserve Brigade, 9th B.M.A. Brigade. Commissioned, 19 May 1917. Home, 1915-17; Palestine, November 1917-February 1919. Final rank, Lieutenant.
