Biography: Son of Laurence Williamson; born Reawick, 12 July 1888. B.Sc., 1910. Enlisted, Nov. 1915. Discharged, on medical grounds. War work-Manufacture of synthetic drugs and research work on War material, University of Aberdeen, 1915-16; forestry work, Speyside, 1917-18.
