Biography: Son of Andrew Whyte; born Brecon, 15 August 1887. M.B., 1914. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 10 July 1915; attached to 90th Field Ambulance, 11th Hampshire Regiment Served-Home, 1915, 1917-18; France, November 1915-November 1916, August 1918-May 1919. Final rank, Captain.
