Biography: Son of James Watson; born Cookney, Kincardineshire, 21 March 1897. Medicine 1914-15, 1919-. A.U.O.T.C. Joined Royal Navy, S.B. Res. (Emergency Corps), December 1915. Served in Royal Navy Hospital, Chatham; H.M.H.S. ""Rewa"" December 1915-April 1916. Commissioned, October 1917. Served in, Royal Navy Barracks, Chatham; H.M. Sloop ""Pembroke""; H.M.T.B.D. ""Pylades,"" October 1917-January 1918. Final rank, Surgeon-Sub-Lieutenant, Royal Navy Volunteer Reserves.
