Biography: Son of Thomas V. Wardrop; born Islington, 11 February 1854. M.B., 1875. Civil Surgeon; attached to Army Medical Department, South African War, 1878-79. Commissioned, Army Medical Service, 1880. Lieutenant-Colonel, 1900. C.V.O. Retired Colonel, R.A.M.C. Officer in Command, King Edward VII Convalescent Home for Officers, Osborne, 1914-19. Companion to the order of the Bath. Mentioned in home despatches.
