Biography: Son of William Wardhaugh; born Bradford, 1 January 1874. M.A., 1896. Home service-Gunner, A Company 1st Dumbartonshire Volunteers (Machine Gun Corps Section); Private, 1st Volunteer Battalion Princess Louise's (Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders), 1916-18.
